About Delaware
Delaware is known as the "First State" because it was the first of the 13
colonies to ratify the United States Constitution, thus making it the first
state in the union. Delaware is bounded to the north by
Pennsylvania, to the east
by the Delaware River and the Atlantic Ocean and to the west and south by
Maryland.
As of 2004, there were an estimated 830,364 people living in Delaware. Delaware
lies on a level plain, the highest elevation being less than 442 feet above the
sea. Wilmington is a separate developed city in northern Delaware. However,
because of its proximity, it acts as both a job hub and suburb with
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Truck Accident Lawyers
Did you know that every 16 minutes
a person is killed or injured in a truck accident? Did you know that big rig
truck accidents continue to increase? Even with these frightening scenarios and
statistics, powerful trucking industry lobbyists continue to call for the
weakening of truck safety rules and regulations to reap a higher profit.
When truck collisions do occur, trucking companies involved in
the accident often send representatives to the accident scene.
These agents work to handle everything at the scene of the accident so that they
can limit or mitigate their company’s liability.
