Sullivan County deputy injured at wreck along Interstate 81

"BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. A Sullivan County sheriff's deputy responding to a car crash along Interstate 81 was struck by a passing vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
Deputy Robert Bowlin and another deputy witnessed a wreck in the southbound lanes of the interstate around 7 last night and checked on the vehicles involved in the wreck.
Bowlin called for back-up for traffic control when a tractor-trailer started sliding toward him."
