Tractor-Trailer Flips on Highway in Tennessee
A tractor-trailer flipped on its side after taking a curve too quickly on Highway 33 at the intersection of Snake Hollow Road near Springdale, Tennessee.  The driver was familiar with the road, but stated that he forgot how steep the curve was.  The accident caused a major traffic jam.

Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by a Tractor Trailer in Pennsylvania
According to TheDailyReview.com, an eighty-six-year-old woman was struck by a tractor-trailer Wednesday afternoon while crossing Canton Street in Troy, Pennsylvania.  She died as a result of her injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the accident. 

Truck Overturns on California Highway
A tractor-trailer overturned and spilled nearly 20,000 pounds of grain onto State Route 78 near Ramona, California.  The driver said that he was taking a curve slowly when the trailer began to overturn.  The driver suffered minor abrasions.  No other vehicles were involved in the Monday afternoon accident.  State Route 78 near Ramona was closed due to the accident and traffic was re-routed until 6pm.

Tractor Trailer Hits School Bus in Ohio
According to an article in The Review, a tractor-trailer veered out of its lane and struck an oncoming school bus while traveling down Route 2 in New Cumberland, Ohio Monday morning.  The bus was carrying thirty-eight middle school students to school.  Although the bus had a broken mirror and shattered window no injuries were reported.  The local superintendent lauded the bus driver’s skill in avoiding a worse accident.  The truck driver was cited for driving left of center.
