"The man who died when three tractor-trailers collided on U.S. 6 just east of Butler on Tuesday has been identified.

Rusty H. Dinsmore, 50, of Culver, died instantly after the crash occurred about 12:30 a.m., a DeKalb County Sheriff’s report said. Dinsmore was driving eastbound on U.S. 6 when another semi driven by a 40-year-old Upland man turned west onto U.S. 6. A third semi driven by a 51-year-old Mantua, Ohio, man came up behind the Upland man’s semi.

Somehow, the three semis collided. The Upland man suffered no injuries while the Ohio man sustained cuts to his head and hand.

The accident caused more than $100,000 in damages. No charges have been filed in the incident."
