One Dead, 8 Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash On Highway 40

"(KSDK) - An accident involving a tractor-trailer and several passenger vehicles shut down eastbound and westbound Interstate 64/Highway 40 between Mason Road and I-270 for four hours.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. Thursday just east of Mason Road. Town & Country police say the eastbound tractor-trailer collided with six other vehicles.
The tractor-trailer then smashed through a concrete median and caused huge chunks of concrete to fly through the air. One large piece of debris smashed through the windshield of a car on the highway."
