Interstate 40: I-40 is one of the major
east-west highways in the U.S. It begins in Barstow, California and ends in
Wilmington, NC. Oklahoma contains 331 miles of I-40, which runs through Oklahoma
City, here the spur route 240 emerges.
Interstate 44: I-44 begins in Wichita
Falls, Texas and terminates in St. Louis, Missouri. 329 miles extend through
Oklahoma, here the highway goes through Oklahoma City and Tulsa, where spur
route 244 loops around the city.
