"PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A driver was killed in a tractor-trailer crash that closed a section of Michigan Avenue in Pittsfield Township on Monday morning.
The collision between a car and the tractor-trailer occurred on Michigan Avenue, between Warner and Platt roads, according to Local 4 reports.
The tractor-trailer was heading east on Michigan Avenue, near Campbell Road, when the driver lost control on a curve just before 7 a.m., police said in a report by The Ann Arbor News. The trailer went off the road and onto the gravel shoulder, then tipped onto its side and slid across the road into the westbound lane, said Lt. Bill Grefka in the paper's report."
