Semi wrecks, closing highway four hours
By Wendy Mitchell
"POWERSVILLE -- A sharp curve and a heavy load were too much for a tractor-trailer in Bracken County, Wednesday morning.
While the driver, Eddie D. Randle of Mount Olivet, survived the wreck unscathed, his trailer and load were scattered along the northbound lane of Kentucky 19 at 7 a.m.
"He was very lucky; the tractor did not overturn and he kept it on the road," said Kentucky State Police Trooper Scott Lengle. "His trailer was not as lucky. He was hauling a load of steel wire."
