Five Semis crash; close southbound I-75 in Monroe

"MONROE -- Southbound Interstate 75 lanes remain closed this afternoon as crews clear the scene of a crash involving five tractor trailer trucks.
The trucks crashed about 10:45 a.m. today near Otter Creek, said Monroe Fire Department officials.
One driver was flown to the Medical College of Ohio and another was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Monroe. The extent of their injuries was not disclosed.
A cause of the crash still is being determined. Fire officials said one of the trucks rolled over and spilled its load of sand across the freeway.
At one point traffic was backed traffic up to Interstate 275. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes through the afternoon"
