The National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to bettering the quality of trial advocacy in our nation's courtrooms and assisting the public in finding experienced and highly qualified trial lawyers.
In order to become a member of this elite group of trial attorneys, an attorney must undergo an exhaustive screening of his or her credentials, including documentation of legal experience, judicial and peer references, as well as a daylong exam. The attorney's ethical standards are also examined by the Standards Committee of the NBTA. A candidate's willingness to undergo this process illustrates a dedication to achieving and maintaining a high standard of practice.
